Cardone Ventures held majority ownership of 10X Health Ventures. Brecka and Workinger kept minority stakes through two holding companies, IJS Presentations, LLC and Turning Point Holdings, LLC, and stayed on as senior executives under contracts requiring them to devote “substantially all” of their time to 10X Health.2PR Newswire. What Cardone Ventures Alleged
The first case landed in federal court in the Southern District of Florida on December 26, 2024. Cardone Ventures and 10X Health Ventures sued Brecka, Workinger, IJS Presentations, Turning Point Holdings, and Ultimate Human, LLC, alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition tied to the “Ultimate Human Analysis” mark.4CourtListener. On March 17, 2025, Cardone Ventures escalated with a much broader complaint in Miami-Dade County state court, describing a “premeditated and massive fraud” carried out over 18 months while Brecka and Workinger were still executives.2PR Newswire. The state complaint also alleged Brecka pressured his daughter to share between 50 and 100 percent of her company’s revenue with him by threatening to report her for operating without a license.3Sharecast. Cardone Ventures sought clawback of more than $15 million in compensation paid to Brecka and Workinger, disgorgement of all profits from the side ventures, and a constructive trust over those businesses and their earnings.9Olean Times Herald. What Brecka Alleged Back
Brecka filed his own state-court suit against Cardone Ventures and CEO Brandon Dawson, alleging “predatory efforts” to take over 10X Health and push him and Workinger out through “nefarious means and breaches of contractual agreements.”7InsuranceNewsNet. Brecka and Workinger also filed a $100 million defamation suit in Miami-Dade Circuit Court against Grant Cardone’s wife, Elena Cardone. They alleged she posted an Instagram video showing Brecka alongside the imprisoned musician Sean “Diddy” Combs, implying a false connection to Combs’ criminal charges, and claimed the post caused reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss.10Daily Business Review. How the Cases Ended
The federal trademark case resolved first. Both sides agreed to mediate in March 2025, but never reached the session. On April 18, 2025, Chief Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga canceled a pending hearing and closed the case after the parties reported they had “amicably settled.” Terms were not disclosed, and either side retained the right to petition to reopen within 60 days if the other failed to comply.7InsuranceNewsNet. The state cases were still live at that point but have since closed as well. Miami-Dade County court records show all three state actions closed: 10X Health Ventures against Brecka, Brecka against Dawson and Cardone Ventures, and the defamation suit against Elena Cardone.11Miami-Dade County Clerk.
