Moving Truck Driver Assault and the $1.2 Million Judgment

In January 2020, Brown got into an altercation with mover Anton Tumanov over a payment dispute at Brown’s Hollywood, Florida, home. Tumanov then sued civilly in Broward County. Custody Suit by Chelsie Kyriss

On January 15, 2020, Chelsie Kyriss, mother of three of Brown’s sons, filed in Broward County seeking sole custody and supervised visitation. 2025 Attempted Murder Charge in Miami

On May 16, 2025, after a celebrity boxing event in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood hosted by internet personality Adin Ross, Brown got into a fistfight with jewelry designer Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu. The two men have a contentious history. Court filings from Brown’s defense say Brown previously accused Nantambu of stealing $3 million in jewelry, an accusation that led to Nantambu spending a month in a Middle Eastern jail before proving the claim was false. The defense also alleges Nantambu attacked Brown backstage at the 2023 Rolling Loud festival and had threatened him with statements including “your days are numbered.”27NBC Miami. Police did not arrest Brown at the scene because they could not locate a victim there. Nantambu gave a full statement on May 21, and an arrest warrant issued in June 2025. Brown had left the country and was living in Dubai for several months before U.S. Marshals apprehended him on November 6, 2025.28CNN.
