Apple iCloud Settlement Claim Form: Williams Closed, Antitrust Pending

There is no active Apple iCloud settlement claim form to fill out. The one iCloud class action that reached a settlement, Williams v. Apple Inc., finished paying class members in 2023, and its claim deadline passed years ago. A separate iCloud antitrust lawsuit is still in discovery and has not settled, so no claims portal exists for it either. If you’ve seen a website advertising a large iCloud payout you can claim today, treat it with skepticism until you can match it to a court docket.

The Williams Settlement Is Closed

The $14.8 million Williams v. Apple Inc. settlement resolved claims that Apple stored iCloud subscriber data on Amazon and Google servers while telling users their content would be stored by Apple.1ZDNet. The class was narrow. You had to have paid for an iCloud subscription between September 16, 2015, and January 31, 2016, with a U.S. mailing address on your Apple account.3Top Class Actions. The claim window is over, and there is no way to submit a claim now.4CNET. The Pending iCloud Antitrust Case Has Not Settled

The current iCloud lawsuit driving online speculation is Felix Gamboa v. Apple Inc. (No. 5:24-cv-01270). Plaintiffs allege Apple monopolizes cloud storage on its own mobile devices, funneling users into iCloud for core backups and overcharging them for it. On June 16, 2025, U.S. District Judge Eumi Lee denied Apple’s motion to dismiss, letting the Sherman Act monopolization, tying, and attempted monopolization claims proceed.8Reuters. There is no settlement fund, no approved class, no claims portal, and no money to claim from this case.

Watch Out for Fake iCloud Claim Sites

Some websites have circulated figures like a $300–$500 million iCloud settlement with a claims site opening in late 2026. Those numbers do not appear in the court record or in credible reporting on the Gamboa case, and the underlying case has not settled.9Mashable. Apple iCloud Class Action Settlement

Before you enter your Apple ID, address, or payment information into any claim form advertised as iCloud-related, check it against the actual court docket on PACER or CourtListener, or against the plaintiffs’ law firms of record. Legitimate class action settlements notify class members through court-approved notices, not through third-party pages promising hundreds of dollars from cases that have not been settled.

Recent Apple Settlements That Aren’t iCloud

Several other Apple cases are in the news and get mistaken for iCloud claims. None of them involve iCloud storage.

If a claim form is real, it will match a docket you can find. For iCloud specifically, as of mid-2026, there isn’t one to find.
