Arapahoe County Court Phone Number: Departments and Courthouses

The main phone number for Arapahoe County Court is (303) 645-6600, which reaches the combined court at the Arapahoe County Justice Center in Centennial.¹ For felony cases or civil disputes over $25,000, the District Court has its own direct line at (303) 649-6355.² Both courts sit within Colorado’s 18th Judicial District.³

Collections and Payments

The Collections Office handles fines and fees after sentencing. Fines are technically due the day of sentencing, but you can apply for a payment plan; there is a $25 annual processing fee for cases on a plan.⁶

Transcripts

Transcript requests go through the JDF 4 Transcript Request Form rather than a phone call. Rates depend on turnaround: $3.60 per page for 30-day ordinary, $4.35 for 10-day expedited, $5.85 for next-day, and $6.85 per page for a two-hour turnaround. Audio recordings for small claims appeals are a $35 flat fee. Rates come from Chief Justice Directive 05-03.⁹

Before You Call: Check Online

Some questions do not require a phone call. The Colorado Judicial Branch’s Arapahoe County page has a docket search for upcoming hearings and lists current judicial officer assignments, which change as judges rotate.³ The Colorado Judicial Online Payment System accepts fines and fees electronically; payments made after 4:00 p.m. are applied the next business day.¹⁰

Interpreters and Legal Aid

Court interpreters are provided at no charge. Submit a request through the Colorado Judicial Branch’s language access form, selecting Arapahoe County and including your case number, hearing date and time, and language. Trial requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance.¹¹
