How the Charges Came About
The exploitation case grew out of a separate investigation. Post’s fiancée, 41-year-old Christina Parcell, was found stabbed to death inside her home on Canebrake Drive in Greer on October 13, 2021. Post discovered the body and called 911. When officers asked for the PIN to Parcell’s phone, Post said he needed to speak with a lawyer. Investigators then obtained Post’s own phone and other devices and found what was described as a trove of child sexual abuse material, including thousands of images.3People. He was arrested eight days after Parcell’s body was found and initially charged with third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Post was never charged in Parcell’s murder and was cleared as a suspect. Concert pianist Zachary Hughes was convicted of the killing in February 2025 and sentenced to life in prison. Civil Settlements Paid to Minor Victims
Two civil suits were filed on behalf of minors, alleging that Post and Parcell together created, distributed, and shared child sexual abuse material for financial gain. Parcell was never criminally charged during her lifetime.
