When the Phones Are Answered
Clerk of the Court offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays.10Brevard County, Florida – Clerk of the Court. Hours of Operation / Holidays The Merritt Island and Palm Bay branches close between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM indefinitely; other branches stay open through lunch.
Court Administration keeps different hours: Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a daily lunch closure from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.2Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Courts. Contact Us So on a Friday afternoon, the Clerk answers until 5:00 but Court Administration is already closed at 4:30.

What You Can Handle Without Calling

Brevard County Clerk of the Court Citation and criminal fine payments go through the online payment portal. Case search will show you case numbers, hearing dates, and filing status for public cases. Official records search covers deeds, mortgages, and liens. E-filing is available to self-represented parties and required for attorneys. You can start a marriage license application at the online kiosk, book a Pro Se appointment, and submit traffic hearing requests through the site.
Public records requests can be submitted through the Clerk’s public records portal or by contacting the office directly.12Florida Senate.
