What the Lawsuit Claims
Eady’s original complaint, filed June 5, 2025, in New York State Supreme Court, sought at least $20 million from Bravo, parent company NBC, and production companies Truly Original and Endemol Shine North America. The claims included defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false light, sexual harassment, and fostering a hostile work environment. The lawsuit’s most pointed allegations are about what the producers did after the photos appeared. Eady says the defendants knew “immediately” that Moore’s actions violated the show’s policies but chose to exploit the moment for its entertainment value. On November 20, 2025, Eady voluntarily discontinued the state action and filed a new complaint the same day in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The federal case, Eady v. The federal complaint expanded her legal theories. It alleges violations of New York State and New York City sex discrimination laws and Atlanta anti-discrimination ordinances, along with claims for retaliation, negligence, breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of fair dealing, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. In March 2026, the defendants moved to dismiss the entire complaint. Judge Rochon set a briefing schedule requiring Eady’s opposition by April 20, 2026, and the defendants’ reply by May 19, 2026. Bravo’s Defense
The network has characterized Eady’s claims as “an attempt to rewrite history and her own contractual agreements.”11Yahoo Entertainment.
