The BrownGreer 3M settlement payout date depends on which track your claim is on and when 3M’s next scheduled deposit lands in the Qualified Settlement Fund. The fund is being financed on a fixed calendar that runs through 2029, and payments go out after each deposit. As of the March 27, 2026 update, more than $3.1 billion of the $6 billion settlement has been distributed. Every eligible Expedited Pay Program claimant has been paid, 99% of Cycle 1 Deferred Payment Program point-based awards have been paid, and 93% of DPP claimants have received their $1,000 registration payment. If you are still waiting, the next milestone that matters for most remaining claimants is the October 1, 2026 point valuation, followed by 3M’s April 15, 2026 and September 15, 2026 deposits.1Combat Arms Settlement Program. When 3M Deposits Money Into the Fund
3M does not pay the settlement in a lump sum. It funds the Qualified Settlement Fund on set dates, and awards go out as money becomes available. The remaining scheduled deposits are:
- January 15, 2026: $75 million
- April 15, 2026: $325 million
- September 15, 2026: $800 million
- December 1, 2026: $150 million
- July 15, 2027: $750 million
- September 15, 2027: $50 million
- July 15, 2028: $300 million
- July 15, 2029: $300 million

Where Each Track Stands Right Now
The March 27, 2026 update from the official settlement site breaks the payout status down by program:
- Expedited Pay Program: 100% of eligible claimants paid.
- MSA III Wave Case claimants: 100% paid.
- MSA III Extraordinary Injury Fund awardees: 100% paid.
- DPP registration payments ($1,000): 93% paid.

If you were in the EPP, your payment has already been issued. If you elected the Deferred Payment Program and have not received a point-based award yet, your next payment window opens after the October 1, 2026 valuation, subject to available funds.
Deferred Payment Program Valuation Dates
DPP awards are not fixed dollar amounts. Each claimant is assigned points based on the severity of hearing loss, whether one or both ears are affected, documented tinnitus, age, and how strongly the injury connects to earplug use. The dollar value of each point is recalculated every year on October 1. Five valuations govern the DPP:
- October 1, 2025 (Calculation 1) — complete
- October 1, 2026 (Calculation 2)
- October 1, 2027 (Calculation 3)
- October 1, 2028 (Calculation 4)
- October 1, 2029 (Calculation 5)
After each October 1 date, ARCHER Systems calculates the point value and pays DPP awards from whatever money is available in the fund at that time. How Payment Order Is Decided
For EPP awards and the $1,000 DPP registration payment, order is set by a first-in, first-out ranking. Your FIFO rank comes from the date and time you signed your initial registration form. DPP point-based awards work differently. Those are not distributed in FIFO order; they are paid off the point valuation and available funds.2U.S. Courts. Notice of FIFO Procedure
A claim can also be skipped over temporarily. If there is a “payment impediment” (missing paperwork, an unresolved lien, or a pending bankruptcy matter), the claim is bypassed and the money held. You then have 180 days to resolve the issue. If it is not resolved in that window, the court can authorize releasing your held share to the next claimant in line. Individual claim status is visible through the secure claimant portal at combatarmssettlement.com. To log in you need the email you registered with, your date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security number. BrownGreer or ARCHER: Who Actually Sends the Check?
Two administrators split the work, and the names get mixed up often. BrownGreer PLC is the Settlement Data Administrator, appointed by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida on August 29, 2023. BrownGreer runs MDL Centrality, processes registrations, deduplicates claimants, and reports to the court.4U.S. Courts. Order of Appointment – Settlement Data Administrator
ARCHER Systems, LLC is the Settlement Administrator and the fiduciary of the Qualified Settlement Fund. ARCHER is the entity that actually issues payments, handles lien questionnaires, pays healthcare lienholders, and manages the fund’s investments and tax compliance. One warning worth carrying. In October 2023, Judge M. Casey Rodgers alerted claimants that fraudulent callers were spoofing ARCHER Systems’ phone number to cold-call people and solicit Social Security numbers and other sensitive information. The court referred those scams to the FBI.
