If you need a spoken-language interpreter for a court proceeding, the court provides one at no cost, but you have to submit Form SS01 to the clerk’s office before your hearing. Sign language interpreter requests use Form MC-410 and go to the ADA Coordinator; call (530) 532-7013 as far in advance as possible. Also have the date of your next hearing, the department number assigned to your case, and the full legal names of everyone involved. For a traffic call, have the citation number from the ticket.
