UC Connect is the only route to in-person help. Do not just show up at a CareerLink. Without a scheduled appointment, staff there won’t be able to help you with UC matters.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

Bring the same documents you’d need to file or manage a claim online:

  • Social Security number
  • Employer name, full mailing address, phone number, and UC account number if you have it
  • First and last day worked
  • Reason you left the job or had hours reduced
  • Pension or severance amounts, if you’re receiving either
  • Bank name, address, account number, and routing number if you want direct deposit

When an In-Person Appointment Is Worth Booking

UC Connect is most useful when a problem hasn’t been solvable through other channels. A few situations where the appointment pays off:

Ways to Reach Pennsylvania UC Without Going In Person

Most claim issues don’t require an in-person visit. Pennsylvania offers several remote channels:

If You’re Up Against an Appeal Deadline

Deadlines in the UC appeals process are strict. You have 21 calendar days from the date on a determination notice to appeal to a UC Referee.
