Why Payments Are Frozen

How Much You’ll Get When Payments Resume
Payout amounts depend on which recall remedy your Bolt received:

The software-only tier is higher because those owners did not receive a physical replacement battery or extended warranty. Owners who sold their Bolt or ended a lease during the parking and charging restrictions but before a remedy became available are also allocated payments under the settlement.3Classaction.org. A Second Distribution is built into the settlement, meaning class members may receive additional money from any funds left after initial claims, administration costs, and attorney fees are paid. If You Already Took the $1,400 E-Card
Before final approval, GM ran a voluntary early-payment program. Owners of 2020–2022 Bolts who installed the Software Final Remedy and registered through GM’s portal by December 31, 2023, received a $1,400 Visa eReward card in exchange for signing a release.4Electrek. If you took the E-Card, you are still a class member and can still receive money from the Second Distribution.3Classaction.org. Who Is Not Getting Paid
