What Happened Outside Karma Lounge
Karma Restaurant and Lounge closed around 1:20 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025. About 17 minutes later, Hampton police received a call about a shooting in the parking lot.2WAVY. Osborne had been at the lounge that night celebrating his girlfriend’s birthday with her family. Investigators recovered spent shell casings at the scene, and the Hampton Police Division’s Major Crimes Unit opened a homicide investigation.2WAVY. Hampton police obtained warrants for Frazier’s arrest on charges of second-degree murder and related firearms offenses.4WTKR. The Manhunt and the $5,000 Reward
Roughly four days after the shooting, Hampton police brought in the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force to locate Frazier.3Yahoo News. Senior Inspector Robert Bowers Jr. said investigators have conducted surveillance, interviewed people close to Frazier, and chased leads across several East Coast states. Who DeAngelo Osborne Was
Known as “Dee” to his mother, “D-Lo” to friends, and “Coach Lo” to the young athletes he mentored, Osborne was a Hampton High School graduate who worked at the Newport News Shipyard and coached youth football locally. Why the Case Is Back in the News
Osborne’s killing was not the last violent incident tied to the Lincoln Street lounge. Since Karma opened in January 2024, Hampton police logged 97 calls for service at the location, including 13 assaults and the April 2025 homicide.10The Virginian-Pilot. Another Hampton Lounge Permit Revoked The Hampton City Council voted on December 10, 2025 to revoke the lounge’s use permit. Then, on the early morning of February 14, 2026, a second fatal shooting occurred at the location after an altercation inside spilled into the rear parking lot.
