Hammoudeh v. Davis and Chapman (2020)
Filed August 25, 2020 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court, this libel and slander action names Cassidy Leah Davis of Utah and Savannah Chapman of Texas. Hammoudeh v. Weir (2024)
On July 8, 2024, Dr. Hammoudeh and Sunset Plastic Surgery sued Shannon Lynn Weir, also identified as Shannon Lynn Wyraitzke, in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court. The complaint describes Weir as a friend of a patient rather than a patient herself, and points to statements she allegedly posted online around June 29, 2024 under the username “Shannon 1.”3UniCourt. Three statements are singled out. Weir allegedly wrote that the practice was “a lawsuit waiting to happen” and that she had “NEVER SEEN such awful before and after care” in her years in the medical field, language the complaint says falsely implies negligence or malpractice. She also allegedly questioned whether the practice’s reviews were “truly honest” because patients had to sign non-disclosure agreements, which the complaint denies.3UniCourt. Hammoudeh v. Husarsky (2025)
The most recent case was filed December 5, 2025 in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court against Miriam R. Husarsky, also known as Miriam Goodman.
