All seven children in the household — the 11-year-old, her newborn, and five other children ages 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 — were removed from the home on August 19, 2025. The Charges
Both parents were initially arrested on a single count of felony child neglect each. That changed on August 25, 2025, when the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported DNA results showing a 99.9% certainty that Dustin Walker, the girl’s stepfather, was the baby’s father.5ABC 33/40. Prosecutors amended the charges the same day. Dustin Walker was charged with sexual abuse of a child under 12. Cherie Walker was charged with enabling child sexual abuse. The charges are classified as “85% crimes” under Oklahoma law, meaning Walker must serve at least 85% of whatever sentence the judge imposes before he is eligible for parole.
