If Benefits Were Already Stolen
Replacing the card and replacing stolen benefits are two different requests. A new card protects what’s left in your account, but funds that a thief already drained through skimming, cloning, or a phishing scam come back only through a separate claim. In Oregon, you have 30 days from discovering the theft to report it.9FlashAlert. A false claim can be treated as an intentional program violation, so only file for actual theft.
One caveat on timing: the federal authorization has carried end dates before, and the current ODHS form limits replacement to thefts that occurred on or before December 20, 2024. Congress may extend it. Check the ODHS website or call 1-800-699-9075 for the current eligibility window.
Limits on How Often You Can Replace the Card
Federal rules require every state to track replacement requests.
