The DSS site lets you search by city, county, or ZIP code to find yours.² DSS is the office that processes TANF Emergency Assistance, which can provide up to $1,500 per emergency to families with children facing eviction or displacement from a fire or natural disaster.³ That money can pay for a hotel stay.
