After the shortages ended, the FDA set short enforcement-discretion windows — through April 22, 2025 for 503A pharmacies and May 22, 2025 for 503B outsourcing facilities — before enforcing the statutory ban on compounding drugs that are “essentially copies” of commercially available products.
