Texas motorcycle YouTuber Rendon Dietzmann, known online as Gixxer Brah, was arrested in February 2024 in Denton County, Texas, extradited to Colorado, and later pleaded guilty to speed exhibition for a filmed 150-plus mph ride from Colorado Springs to Denver. He was sentenced on April 23, 2024, to 14 days in jail (already served), roughly $2,300 in fines and extradition costs, and a revocation of his Colorado driving privileges.
The Ride That Triggered the Case
On September 28, 2023, Dietzmann recorded a point-of-view video titled “From Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 Minutes” and posted it to his YouTube channel, which had about 252,000 subscribers at the time.1Spectrum News. Drivers who recognized the stretch of highway and viewers who saw the video contacted authorities. The Colorado State Patrol opened an investigation with the Dallas Police Department and the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office.3New York Post. Charges on the Colorado Warrant

- Menacing
- Engaging in a speed contest
- Reckless endangerment
- Reckless driving
- Speeding 40 mph or more over the limit
- Engaging in an exhibition of speed
- Driving without license plates attached

Arrest in Texas and Extradition to Colorado
On February 7, 2024, the Denton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dietzmann at a residence in Justin, Texas, and booked him into the county jail on the Colorado extraditable warrant.6Denver Post. The Plea Deal
On March 28, 2024, Dietzmann reached an agreement with prosecutors in the 4th Judicial District. He pleaded guilty to a single count of speed exhibition, a class 2 misdemeanor traffic offense under Colorado law.8Denver Gazette. The Sentence

- 14 consecutive days in jail, already served through his arrest and extradition custody.
- A maximum fine of $300 plus surcharges and court costs.
- $1,996.08 in extradition costs reimbursed to the State of Colorado, bringing total financial penalties to about $2,300.

What Happened to the Channel
Even after the warrant became public and before his arrest, Dietzmann kept posting. In a February 2, 2024 video he acknowledged the situation, saying, “It’s getting harder and harder to post stuff without getting in trouble in more than one way,” and hinted at a change in direction.7Denver Gazette.
