Grace Lilly’s criminal charges currently include two open South Carolina cases: a second-degree harassment misdemeanor stemming from a December 2025 arrest tied to a cat custody dispute with an ex-boyfriend, and a controlled substance possession charge filed in March 2026 after pills found in a container labeled “Happy Pills” tested as clonazepam. Both cases remain unresolved, with court dates scheduled through 2026.
The Harassment Charge
Mount Pleasant police arrested Lilly near the Ravenel Bridge on December 28, 2025, after a traffic camera flagged her 2012 Mercedes as linked to a possible wanted person and officers observed an illegal lane change. The stop happened at a Circle K around 11:20 p.m. She was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center on an active warrant for second-degree harassment that a judge had signed on December 10, 2025, and released the same day on personal recognizance.1Live 5 News. The warrant grew out of a long-running fight with an unnamed ex-boyfriend over a cat he had purchased while the two were together in late 2022 or early 2023. According to police reports, Lilly took the cat, and the ex filed a “Claim and Delivery” lawsuit, winning custody in court. A documented altercation between the two over the animal was already on file with Charleston police from March 2023. On October 30, 2023, the ex reported that Lilly had tried to enter his apartment four separate times to take the cat back.2ABC News 4. A formal investigation opened on October 12, 2025. Search warrants for phone records showed Lilly had called the ex 211 times since July 7, 2023, 164 of those from a blocked number. The ex also turned over video of Lilly trying his apartment doorknob, along with text messages and additional call logs. He was granted a restraining order around November 4, 2025.2ABC News 4. The Drug Possession Charge
The same December 28 traffic stop produced the second case. Officers searching Lilly’s purse found a small container labeled “Happy Pills” that held 12 round white pills marked with a “P” and half of an oblong blue pill. Lilly told officers the white pills were birth control and the blue was prescribed Xanax, but she could not produce a prescription or the original packaging.1Live 5 News.
