The Dollar General Price Settlement claim form is the document you submit to collect a cash payment from the Braun v. Dolgencorp class action, which alleged customers were charged more at the register than the shelf price showed. The form has four sections — your contact information, payment preference, proof of the overcharge, and a signed attestation — and you can file it online at www.DGPriceSettlement.com or by mail to the settlement administrator in Philadelphia. The deadline was April 15, 2026, and mailed forms had to be postmarked by that date. Who Can File
The class covers anyone in the United States who paid more than the advertised shelf price on any item at any Dollar General store between October 10, 2016, and November 19, 2025. The Proof You Need Before You Start

- Option A — Prior complaint. You filed a complaint about the specific overcharge with a government agency or with Dollar General within 30 days of the incident, and Dollar General never refunded you. You’ll need a copy of that complaint.
- Option B — Contemporaneous evidence. You documented the overcharge when it happened, for example a photo showing the shelf tag alongside your receipt or the register display. The evidence must have been created at the time of the overcharge, not reconstructed later.
You can claim up to two separate overcharge incidents. The payout is $10 per overcharged item or your actual overpayment, whichever is higher, with a household maximum of $20 or the total of your actual overcharges if that number is higher.3ClassAction.org. Filling Out the Form Section by Section

Claimant Information
Print your full legal name (first, middle, last), current street address, city, state, and ZIP code. Provide a daytime phone number, an evening phone number, and an email address. If you received a mailed notice, enter the Notice ID number printed on it. If your name or address has changed since the notice went out, list both the current information and what appeared on the notice so the administrator can match your record.
Payment Preference
Choose electronic payment or a mailed check. Electronic payments require a valid email address where the payment link will be sent. If you move often, electronic is the safer choice.
Proof and Purchase Details
Check the box for Option A or Option B based on the evidence you have. Then complete the table with the details of each overcharged item.
Option A entries require the item name, the price you paid, and the shelf price. Option B entries require all of the above plus the store location (street address, city, state) and the date of purchase. Attach your supporting evidence: a copy of the complaint for Option A, or photos and other contemporaneous documentation for Option B. Online filers upload digital images through the portal. Paper filers include photocopies with the mailed form.
Attestation and Signature
The final section is a sworn statement under penalty of perjury that everything on the form is true and correct to the best of your knowledge, and an acknowledgment that your claim may be audited or reviewed by the court. Sign, print your name, and date it. The online portal accepts an electronic signature.
How to Submit
- Online. File at www.DGPriceSettlement.com, upload your proof documents as digital images, and submit. Save the confirmation code the system displays; you’ll need it to check status later.
- Mail. Print the PDF, complete it, attach copies of your proof, and mail everything to the settlement administrator at 1650 Arch St., Suite 2210, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Deadlines That Have Already Passed

- Opt-out and objection deadline: March 2, 2026.
- Final Fairness Hearing: March 19, 2026.
- Claim filing deadline: April 15, 2026.
If you didn’t opt out, you remain a class member. The settlement’s release of legal claims against Dollar General applies to you whether or not you filed a claim form.
What Happens After You File
The settlement administrator reviews each claim for completeness and verifies the attached proof. Claims may be randomly audited, and the administrator can request additional documentation. Incomplete forms or claims with insufficient evidence get rejected, which is why the quality of your proof matters more than anything else on the form.
Once the court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved, Dollar General has 30 days to deposit funds into the settlement account. The administrator then issues payments by the method each claimant chose. If no one appeals, payments could arrive within a few months of the Final Fairness Hearing. The In-Store Discount Doesn’t Use This Form
Every class member is eligible for a $3 discount on the first $10 of any purchase of at least $10 before tax, limited to one per customer. You don’t need proof of an overcharge and you don’t file the claim form. You do need a Dollar General rewards account, either an existing one or a new signup through the Dollar General app or website. Once your account is active, the discount becomes available for redemption.
