Patriot Petroleum Solutions LLC, a Fort Collins, Colorado petroleum equipment and services company, is the subject of a Patriot Petroleum Solutions lawsuit cluster filed through 2025 by clients and creditors who say the company took substantial payments and judgment debts without delivering work or repaying money owed. Several of the actions also name owner Joshua Skov personally. Bailey Enterprises Says It Paid Over $200,000 and Got Nothing
On November 5, 2025, Bailey Enterprises Inc. filed a breach-of-contract suit in federal court alleging Patriot Petroleum accepted more than $200,000 for two projects and never delivered.1Riverton Ranger. According to the complaint, Bailey’s wired $96,256.51 in January 2024 for a point-of-sale system for its convenience retail and fuel operations. Fagerberg and DMSI Holdings Sue Over an Unpaid Business Purchase
A second breach-of-contract action was filed on December 9, 2025, in Weld County District Court, Colorado. The plaintiffs are Don’s Maintenance Service, Inc. The dispute traces back to a January 2021 Asset Purchase and Sale Agreement under which Patriot Petroleum agreed to buy a fuel station services business at 1124 31st Avenue in Greeley, Colorado, for $425,000, secured by a promissory note. Donald Fagerberg had operated the business for 42 years; he died in March 2025, and his son Michael, a signatory to the original deal, now manages the estate. The complaint includes a jury demand. Creditor Collection Actions
Patriot Petroleum and Skov have also been chased by financial creditors. In July 2025, Panthers Capital sued the company and additional defendants in Fairfield County, Connecticut, in a contracts and collections matter involving a writ of attachment and garnishment. Filings show the plaintiff garnished $1,545,000 from the defendants’ accounts at Wells Fargo Bank and US Bank, supported by an application for a prejudgment remedy and an affidavit of debt indicating the dispute arose from a financing arrangement.3Trellis.Law. In October 2025, Dependance Platinum FL LLC filed a judgment enforcement action in Larimer County District Court, Colorado, seeking to domesticate and enforce a judgment originally obtained in New York state court against both Skov and the company. The case was opened and closed the same day, October 22, 2025, after the plaintiff submitted a certified copy of the New York judgment and a supporting affidavit.
