The 2012 Glendale Domestic Assault Arrest
The warrant behind the mugshot came from an alleged physical assault of Radke’s girlfriend at their shared home on May 1, 2012. The Los Angeles County Superior Court complaint charged him with one misdemeanor count of corporal injury to a girlfriend and one misdemeanor count of false imprisonment. The 2006 Las Vegas Brawl and Battery Conviction
Radke’s criminal record begins with a May 2006 fight in a desert lot near Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas. During the brawl, a companion named Chase Rader produced a gun and fired it, killing 18-year-old Michael Cook and seriously injuring another person, Michael Colquitt.3Las Vegas Weekly. On January 18, 2008, Radke pleaded guilty to one count of battery with substantial bodily harm. He was sentenced to five years of probation, ordered into a drug rehabilitation program, and required to pay $92,372 in restitution to Cook’s mother, Ceda Freeman.3Las Vegas Weekly. Prison Time After a Probation Violation
The probation did not hold. In mid-2008, Radke failed to check in with his probation officer for two months, and U.S. Marshals took him into custody in June 2008.4The Music. The 2012 Microphone Stand Assault in New Jersey
Less than two months after the Glendale arrest, Radke was booked again. At a September 29, 2012 concert called “FestEVIL” at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, he threw three heavy microphone stands into the audience at the end of Falling in Reverse’s set.6NBC Philadelphia. Phillip Schwartz, 24, had a head gash that required three staples, and a 16-year-old girl sustained a three-inch scalp laceration requiring staples and a concussion.7ABC 13. The Failed Defamation Suit Against Anthony Fantano
In 2024, Radke sued music critic Anthony Fantano over a 2023 YouTube video titled “This Guy Sucks” that discussed Radke’s legal history, public statements, and music.8Consequence of Sound. Radke was ordered to pay $40,700 in defense attorney fees, an amount he has formally contested as “excessive” and “grossly disproportionate.”10Stereogum. The 2026 Restraining Order
Early in 2026, dueling filings played out between Radke and social media personality Brittany Furlan in Los Angeles courts. On January 5, 2026, Radke sought a temporary restraining order against Furlan, alleging online harassment, repeated social media contact, an uninvited appearance at his doctor’s appointment, and messages to underage fans meant to coerce false statements about him. Furlan then pursued her own order. On March 17, 2026, after a full hearing, a judge granted a civil harassment restraining order against Radke in her favor. The UK Visa Denial
Radke’s Nevada prison term continues to have practical consequences. In late 2024, the UK denied him a visa, forcing Falling in Reverse to cancel what was set to be the band’s biggest UK tour, with sold-out shows.13Billboard.
