The Shelby Sapp lawsuit is a Miami-Dade County civil case filed in September 2024 by her former business associate Gueorgui Stoitzvev, who alleges Sapp ended their partnership abruptly and launched a competing sales-training venture, She Sells Remote, that generated over $1 million in its first webinar. Sapp denies any partnership existed. As of May 2026, the case is still open and in discovery.1Trellis Law. Gueorgui Stoitzvev Et Al vs Shelby Haas-Sapp Et Al
Who Sued Shelby Sapp and Why
The plaintiffs are Gueorgui Stoitzvev (spelled “Stoitzev” in some filings) and Girl Sales Boss LLC. The defendants are Shelby Haas-Sapp, her company She Sells Academy LLC, and Blake Rocha, described in the complaint as Sapp’s business partner.1Trellis Law. According to the complaint filed September 12, 2024, Stoitzvev and Sapp formed Girl Sales Boss LLC on May 13, 2024. Stoitzvev says he handled operations, client communications, workshop logistics, CRM systems, and proprietary training materials while Sapp was the public face and sales trainer. One asset he claims to have developed is the “GSB Flywheel,” a framework illustrating the company’s customer acquisition process.2Trellis Law. Complaint, Stoitzvev v. Haas-Sapp
Stoitzvev alleges that on August 18, 2024, Sapp told him she was terminating the partnership. Within roughly 30 hours of that call, he says, she launched She Sells Remote, and a webinar tied to the launch brought in over $1 million.3Unite With Priti. The complaint pleads breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of trade secrets under Florida’s Uniform Trade Secrets Act, unpaid compensation, misappropriation of business opportunities, and defamation.1Trellis Law. How Sapp Is Responding
In an August 2025 motion to dismiss the second amended complaint, Sapp’s side called Stoitzvev a “disgruntled former business acquaintance” and argued no enforceable partnership ever existed. The motion states that neither party invested money into Girl Sales Boss LLC and that Sapp never signed the company’s draft operating agreement.4Trellis Law. Motion to Dismiss, Haas-Sapp, She Sells Academy LLC, Rocha
The defense also points to timing. Sapp organized She Sells LLC in Arizona in April 2023, before she met Stoitzvev, which the motion frames as evidence that her sales-training business was independent and pre-existing. The filing calls the lawsuit a “cynical attempt to exploit and derail Ms. Sapp’s success” and argues Girl Sales Boss would not have existed without Sapp’s social media following of roughly one million people. It also references written admissions from Stoitzvev acknowledging Sapp’s decision to end the relationship. The defendants asked the court to dismiss the case with prejudice.4Trellis Law. The Two Companies at the Center of the Case
Girl Sales Boss LLC is the entity Stoitzvev says the two built together, with him supplying the model, systems, and materials. He is listed as a plaintiff alongside the company.2Trellis Law. Complaint, Stoitzvev v. Haas-Sapp
She Sells Academy LLC is the brand Sapp operates today. Its program, She Sells Remote, is marketed to women pursuing remote high-ticket sales careers and is priced at $2,997.5Scribd. She Sells Remote Closing Program Overview Stoitzvev’s theory is that the training methods, client relationships, and intellectual property now sold through She Sells Academy came out of the work he did under Girl Sales Boss. The defense says the two businesses are entirely separate.
