SouthState Bank, N.A., filed in Florida’s Tenth Judicial Circuit in Polk County after an unauthorized party accessed folders on the bank’s network on or about February 7, 2024. What You Can Claim

Class members can claim two cash benefits and receive a third benefit automatically.

Documented loss reimbursement up to $3,500. If you had out-of-pocket losses tied to the breach after February 7, 2024, you can be reimbursed with third-party proof. Qualifying costs include bank fees, fraudulent charges, credit monitoring or freeze fees, professional fees paid to address identity fraud, the cost of replacing government-issued IDs, and incidental expenses like postage or long-distance calls. Losses already covered by insurance or another source do not qualify, and a personal affidavit alone will not support a claim; you need bank statements, invoices, receipts, or similar records.2ClassAction.org. Pro rata cash payment. Anyone in the class can claim a proportional share of whatever remains in the $1.5 million fund after documented loss claims are paid. No proof of harm is required, and you can file for both this and the documented loss reimbursement.3ClassAction.org. $1.5M SouthState Bank N.A.
