The Stefon Diggs lawsuit landscape covers one criminal case and several civil ones. Adams testified that a text argument over money she believed she was owed escalated when Diggs entered her room, slapped her with an open hand, wrapped his elbow around her neck, and choked her before throwing her onto the bed.4NBC Boston. The defense argued Adams fabricated the allegations to extract money during a payroll dispute. Seven witnesses who were at the house that night, including a registered nurse and a massage therapist, testified they saw no signs of injury or altercation.7Newsday. Defamation Case Against Christopher Blake Griffith
In the summer of 2025, Christopher Blake Griffith, a clothing designer and social media influencer who had collaborated with Diggs on a fashion label called Liem Homme, began publicly claiming Diggs had drugged and sexually assaulted him at Diggs’ Rockville, Maryland, home in May 2023.12NBC Boston. Diggs sued Griffith for defamation on October 1, 2025, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, calling the sexual assault claims “pure fiction.”14Fox News. Griffith also alleges that a week after the claimed assault, he was attacked in the elevator of his Los Angeles apartment building by a group that included Stefon’s brother Darez Diggs, who Griffith says stole a bag containing roughly $100,000 in diamonds and jewelry. Discovery has been contentious. Griffith moved to compel Diggs to produce financial records, arguing that a plaintiff claiming reputational and economic harm must document it; his attorney said Diggs “does not get to sue and hide.”17BET. Extortion Suit and Countersuit in Texas
In February 2025, Diggs filed a six-count lawsuit in Harris County, Texas, against Mia Jones (also known as Mulan Hernandez) and Brianna “Brii” Mack. The complaint alleges the two entered his apartment on June 7, 2024, assaulted him, destroyed roughly $130,000 worth of property, and then tried to extort millions of dollars by threatening to publicly accuse him of abuse.20Houston Chronicle. Florida Lawsuit Against Diggs
On February 3, 2026, a former business affiliate who had arranged travel and logistics for Diggs filed suit in Miami-Dade County against Stefon, his brothers Trevon and Darez Diggs, and two alleged associates including Vincent Anthony Franklin. The plaintiff alleges Diggs falsely accused him of stealing a Ferrari actually taken by third parties in 2024, damaging his reputation and business. He also claims that on December 4, 2025, associates of Diggs assaulted him at Tootsie’s Cabaret in Miami, leaving him with a torn ACL, a torn MCL, and a broken nose, while Trevon Diggs watched without intervening.21Boston Globe. NFL Status After the Cases
Diggs signed a three-year, $63.5 million contract with the New England Patriots in 2025 after being traded from the Houston Texans, where he had torn his ACL in October 2024.22AOL.
