Ticketmaster Settlement Claim Form: Why None Existed and Newer Cases

There is no Ticketmaster settlement claim form to fill out. The Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster class action never used one: eligible buyers received discount codes and ticket vouchers automatically through their Ticketmaster accounts and email after the settlement received final approval in February 2015. Every benefit has since expired. Ticketmaster finished fulfilling ticket vouchers in 2018, and the $2.25 discount codes became invalid in June 2020.1Ticketmaster. Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster

Why There Was Never a Claim Form

The settlement was built around automatic distribution. Instead of asking class members to submit paperwork, Ticketmaster deposited voucher codes and discount codes directly into eligible accounts. Class members could see what they had by logging in and checking “Active Vouchers” under “My Account.”

If you bought tickets on Ticketmaster.com between October 21, 1999, and February 27, 2013, and paid an order processing fee, you were automatically part of the class unless you opted out.1Ticketmaster. Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster A subclass covered buyers who also paid for UPS delivery on those purchases.2Truth in Advertising. Settlement Agreement and Release – Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster No form, no filing, no deadline to meet. Guides online that still describe a submission process are describing something that never existed.

What the Settlement Actually Provided

The 2003 case alleged that Ticketmaster failed to disclose how it calculated its order processing fees and UPS delivery charges, and that these add-on charges were described in a way suggesting they reflected actual costs when they did not.2Truth in Advertising. Settlement Agreement and Release – Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster Ticketmaster settled in 2013 by agreeing to issue credits rather than cash refunds.

Compensation was tied to the number of qualifying purchases a class member made during the class period, capped at 17 per person:1Ticketmaster. Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster

  • A $2.25 discount code per qualifying purchase, applied toward future ticket buys on Ticketmaster.com.
  • A $5 UPS delivery code per purchase that included UPS shipping.
  • A ticket voucher per qualifying purchase, each good for two general admission tickets to designated concerts at Live Nation owned or operated venues, redeemable on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Settlement Is Fully Closed

There is no mechanism to file a late claim or request retroactive credits. Ticket vouchers were fulfilled in 2018, and the discount codes expired in June 2020.1Ticketmaster. Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster Logging into your Ticketmaster account now will not show usable settlement credits, and Ticketmaster has no further obligation under this case.

Newer Ticketmaster Cases That May Produce a Claim Process

If you found this page because you’re owed something by Ticketmaster, the live action is in more recent litigation, not Schlesinger.

DC Attorney General Settlement

On April 20, 2026, the DC Attorney General announced a $9.9 million settlement with Live Nation over deceptive ticket pricing practices, including hidden mandatory fees and misleading countdown timers. Up to $8.9 million of that is designated for consumer refunds. The investigation covered practices from 2015 through May 2025. The claims process had not opened as of the announcement, and the AG’s office said it would publish details in the following months.3Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. DOJ Antitrust Verdict

On April 15, 2026, a federal jury in the Southern District of New York found Live Nation and Ticketmaster liable on all antitrust counts, including illegal bundling and monopolization of primary ticketing markets. The jury set damages at $1.72 per primary concert ticket sold through anticompetitive conduct, subject to trebling under the Clayton Act. The court still needs to determine how many tickets qualify and will conduct a separate remedy phase.4Crowell & Moring LLP. After the Verdict: Navigating the Live Nation/Ticketmaster Antitrust Fallout Individual buyers who purchased primary concert tickets at major venues in the plaintiff states between May 2020 and 2024 are the most likely beneficiaries. Live Nation has filed post-trial motions. No claim form exists for this case yet.

What to Do Now

Nothing can be recovered under Schlesinger. For the DC settlement, watch the DC Attorney General’s website for the claims process, expected to open in 2026. The DOJ antitrust verdict could eventually produce per-ticket payments, but post-trial motions and the remedy phase mean any consumer distribution is likely months or years out.

If you regularly buy tickets through Ticketmaster, save your purchase confirmations and keep your account records current. When a claim window opens, having the email address tied to older purchases and the order numbers on hand is what makes filing straightforward. Many Schlesinger class members couldn’t trace purchases they’d made a decade earlier, and that history is harder to reconstruct than it is to keep.
