The Tubi streaming settlement is a $19.99 million class action resolving claims that the free service shared users’ viewing data with Meta and other advertising partners without consent. Anyone who used Tubi between June 23, 2021, and August 26, 2024, was eligible to be part of the class, and valid claims had to be submitted by November 28, 2024. Payments to approved claimants began on October 17, 2025, after an appeal that had held up distribution was dismissed the prior month.1ClaimDepot. Tubi Privacy Settlement

How Much Each Claimant Receives
The exact per-person amount has not been published because it depends on how many valid claims were filed, and that figure has not been publicly disclosed.4VideoStreamingSettlement.com. Gregory v. Tubi, Inc. Settlement
The math works like this. Tubi funded a $19,990,000 pool. From that pool, the court deducts administration costs, attorneys’ fees of up to 35% for class counsel, and a $5,000 service award for the named plaintiff, Jacqueline Gregory.5VideoStreamingSettlement.com. One factor reducing the pool: roughly 24,000 people opted out of the settlement to pursue individual arbitration claims through the law firm Keller Postman.6Law.com.
