The AllTrust data incident settlement resolves a class action over a February 2024 breach that exposed Social Security numbers, financial account details, and other sensitive information belonging to 161,359 people. Eligible claimants could choose a flat cash payment of about $25, reimbursement of up to $2,500 for documented losses, or a free year of credit monitoring. The claim deadline was March 3, 2026, and as of mid-2026 the settlement has preliminary court approval but has not received final approval, so no payments have been distributed.
Who Was Affected
Between February 12 and February 15, 2024, an unauthorized party accessed a non-production network run by Aspire USA, LLC, a subsidiary of AllTrust Networks. The compromised systems held names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license and government ID numbers, dates of birth, financial account numbers, and email usernames and passwords for 161,359 people. AllTrust did not begin notifying affected individuals until approximately February 27, 2025, roughly a year after the intrusion was detected.
The settlement class covers all living U.S. residents who received a notice from AllTrust saying their personal information may have been compromised in the breach. A separate California subclass covers California residents whose personally identifiable information was specifically identified as potentially accessed. Directors, officers, and agents of the defendants, governmental entities, and court staff assigned to the case are excluded.
What You Can Claim
Claimants had to pick one of two cash options. They cannot receive both.
- Reimbursement of up to $2,500 for documented losses. This covers out-of-pocket expenses more likely than not caused by the breach, incurred between February 14, 2024, and March 3, 2026. Supporting documents such as receipts, phone records, or correspondence are required; a personal affidavit alone is not enough. Losses already reimbursed by insurance or another source don’t qualify, and emotional distress, bodily injury, and punitive damages are excluded.
- A flat cash payment of roughly $25. This option draws from an aggregate pool capped at $200,000 and may be reduced pro rata if claims exceed the pool.
Every class member can also claim one free year of CyEx Financial Shield Pro, which includes single-bureau credit monitoring, dark web scanning, help placing security freezes, $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance with no deductible, and access to fraud resolution agents.
California subclass members can claim an additional statutory payment of about $50 on top of either cash option. That payment comes from a separate $100,000 pool and is also subject to pro-rata reduction.
Where the Settlement Stands
The consolidated case, In re AllTrust Data Breach Litigation, Case No. CACE-25-014963, is pending in Florida Circuit Court in Broward County against Valsoft Corporation Inc. d/b/a AllTrust Networks and Aspire USA, LLC. The court granted preliminary approval on December 3, 2025, and set a final approval hearing for March 16, 2026, at 9:30 AM EDT.
The settlement website tells class members that approval “may take time” and that no payments will go out until the settlement is finally approved and any appeals are resolved. If you filed a claim, expect a wait.
Deadlines That Have Already Passed
The deadline to file a claim, opt out, or object was March 3, 2026. If you received a notice but didn’t file a claim by that date, you are still bound by the settlement’s release of claims but will not receive a payment or credit monitoring.

Attorney fees of up to $600,000, service awards of up to $2,500 for each of the five class representatives, and administration costs are paid by the defendants separately and do not reduce the money available to class members.
