A 2020 Domestic Abuse Warrant in Louisiana
In September 2020, ESPN reported that Farmer was wanted in Kenner, Louisiana, on a felony domestic abuse battery charge. The complaint was filed by a former girlfriend, Nikki Manno, and concerned an April 17, 2020 incident in which a doorbell camera captured Farmer grabbing her by the neck in an apparent attempt to drag her into her house. After going undrafted, Farmer built a professional career across Latin America. He first joined the Halcones de Obregón in Mexico’s CIBACOPA league for the 2019-20 season, which was cut short by the pandemic. He returned to the Halcones for multiple stints and, during the 2023-24 CIBACOPA season, averaged 23.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.2 steals across 39 games, earning Player of the Week honors four times. Farmer is back in Obregón for a fifth season. Through 36 games he is averaging 18.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists as the team’s leading scorer, and the Halcones finished the regular season 27-23, fourth in the league.10RealGM.
